Welcome to the eighteenth edition of Open Insight, our blog for investors. This is where you can find out more about our offering and market position, our progress, our challenges and our growth.

As 2023 draws to a close, I’d like to share some tangible advancements we’ve achieved over the past quarter.

Whether it’s in technological leadership, market adaptability, or forging global partnerships, our mission remains to consistently be at the forefront of technology, offer solutions that address the ever-changing market dynamics and customer needs.

In this update, we’ll delve into product enhancements, our presence at the IBC Show, success stories from our valued customers, our expanding global alliances, and the latest on our synchronization product.

Key Product Updates and IBC 2023

We are proud to have launched a series of significant updates for Nimbra 1000 and Nimbra 600 this year.

These enhancements make our products more versatile and, as a result, more appealing to both current and potential customers. Noteworthy features in the updates include support for SMPTE 2110, TR-07, and the IP Media Trust Boundary.

We most recently showcased the latter at IBC 2023 in Amsterdam, the tradeshow for the TV and Media industry.

To our excitement and the audience’s cheers, we received the IBC Best of Show award for this solution.

In a world where the quality of broadcasts can make all the difference, our IP Media Trust Boundary is a unique solution that enables our customers in managing the challenges of connecting various networks.

This solution provides insights that support quick identification and resolution of potential disruptions. With security at its core, our customers can now have complete control over their broadcasts.

Customers at the Forefront

As the media landscape continuously evolves, our strategy remains steadfast and forward-looking. The following customer-focused initiatives represents this approach.

Technological Innovation Leadership – NDT

At the FISU University Games in Chengdu, we showcased our state-of-the-art 4K encoding technology paired with JPEG XS compression. Flexibility through Technology – Tre Rum

Our involvement in the theater production “Tre Rum” highlights the impact of our technology’s adaptability and flexibility.

This production accomplished something never seen on a theater stage, staging the play simultaneously in three different countries. With a physical actor on each stage, they interacted in a virtual space before three separate audiences.

Thanks to Net Insight’s low latency technology, the result was a groundbreaking form of theatrical art, where the experience was unique depending on which of the three countries one was in.

I must also highlight our collaboration with Diversified. Through this partnership, we’re combining Diversified’s expansive network and expertise with the technology offered by Net Insight.

Zyntai Update

First and foremost, I’m pleased to announce that the Zyntai nodes we delivered last quarter are now live, even before their official release.

Three Sweden has successfully integrated Zyntai into their mobile network. Collaborating with Three Sweden has been vital to this achievement, and we’re keen to sustain and grow this partnership.

We’ve been keenly monitoring the frequency auction that the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS) wrapped up in September. Our client, Three Sweden, was allocated a new, valuable spectrum, positioning them to significantly bolster their 5G network infrastructure.

We’re proud to be their chosen partner in ensuring GNSS-independent synchronization to meet the standards set by the PTS auction.

Currently, we have several Proof of Concept projects underway and are in discussions with various customers about initiating new ones. This November, our focus is on the release of our new synchronization product, Zyntai.

We’re pleased to have stayed on track with our ambitious product development timeline. When compared with our first-generation synchronization solution, Zyntai has several important advantages, which have gained increased customer interest.

Users stand to benefit from Zyntai’s markedly higher capacity with its enhanced algorithms, higher scalability, increased client compatibility, and its capability to support larger and more complex network scenarios.

Tradeshows & Webinar

We recently participated in MWC Las Vegas and are now gearing up for the synchronization conference, International Timing and Sync Forum (ITSF), in Antwerp on October 30th. Additionally, preparations are underway for MWC Barcelona 2024 in February, where we’re excited about engaging with both existing and potential clients.

For those of you keen on deepening your understanding of how our synchronization solution operates, I’d strongly recommend this Light Reading webinar.

Our CTO, Per Lindgren, alongside Türk Telekom, explores the challenges and opportunities tied to synchronization in 5G.

Wishing you a nice autumn

Over the past quarter, we’ve witnessed significant progress across multiple fronts. Our participation in IBC 2023 strengthened our business relationships, and the recent updates to our Nimbra products have been well-received by the market.

Customized solutions for events such as the FISU University Games and “Tre Rum” have highlighted our adaptability and capabilities. Collaborations with MediaKind, Console Connect, and Diversified have broadened our reach.

Furthermore, the advancements with Zyntai, especially its integration with Three Sweden, have been notably promising. We are now eagerly anticipating the release of Zyntai this coming November.
