Our collaboration with MediaKind has birthed a comprehensive end-to-end distribution solution, elevating their video processing and delivery products. The integration of our Nimbra Edge technology provides a robust platform for users to ingest, route, process, and distribute live content. This system excels in delivering high-quality, low-latency media in various formats, setting a new standard in media distribution efficiency.

Securing Your IP Media Investments

Recognizing the challenges in IP media networking, we’ve launched the Trust Boundary Appliance, a user-friendly solution designed to safeguard your IP media investments. This tool simplifies the integration process and addresses common networking challenges, ensuring a secure and reliable media networking environment.

Net Insight in Action: Delivering High-Profile Events

2024 has been a significant year for our Nimbra Edge solution, managing stream orchestration, quality control, and routing for all European match feeds for the CBS Sports Golazo Network. These broadcasts were seamlessly delivered across various platforms including CBSSports.com, the CBS Sports app, Pluto TV, and Paramount+.

Additionally, our technology played a crucial role in the FISU event in Chengdu, China, covering 45 venues for 18 sports. Leveraging JPEG XS for remote production, we enabled about 20 venues to produce content in 4K. Our Nimbra gateways, capable of processing over 160 live UHD feeds, ensured negligible latency across vast distances, maintaining the highest quality throughout.

Charting the Future: Expanding Horizons with Cloud and Standards Compliance

Looking ahead, Net Insight is set to redefine media streaming. We’re expanding our capabilities to manage over 10,000 streams simultaneously across multi-cloud and multi-region implementations. Our plan includes integrating Nimbra ground network control with cloud services for seamless end-to-end provisioning.

The introduction of JPEG XS to cloud implementations using RIST for resilience marks a significant stride in ingesting low-latency feeds for cloud production processing. Furthermore, we are poised to pioneer implementations based on the new SMPTE RP2129 inter-entity trust boundary standard, facilitating a standardized model of collaboration among broadcasters, production facilities, and service providers.
