Net Insight collaborates with RTVE & MoMe for significant evolution of IP contribution network
The Spanish public broadcaster RTVE (Radio Televisión Española) has selected Net Insight and MoMe for a comprehensive evolution, extension, and upgrade of its nationwide multiservice contribution network.
The upgraded IP contribution network will be multifaceted, conceived to facilitate seamless contribution services between Madrid and main sites throughout the country, encompassing video, audio, and data. In response to the escalating need for higher bandwidth and increasing data traffic demands, there will be a transition of link capacity from 1 Gbps to a robust 10 Gbps ensuring seamless connectivity across the nation. This significant upgrade is pivotal in adding more resilience and accommodating the increasing demand for additional services.
The expansion and modernization of the RTVE´s contribution network using Net Insight’s technology with the support from MoMe will significantly improve the existing service delivery, allowing RTVE to offer more content and a wider range of services with greater reliability and efficiency.
