Broadcasters are still under pressure the coming years with declining viewers, due to the competition from YouTube, Snapchat, and social media platforms to explore and of course on-demand services such as Netflix and HBO. Broadcasters are now focusing on multiscreen strategy and different OTT platforms that enable direct consumer services. The shift within OTT of on-demand services to more linear services will continue, as for example within sports where F1 TV is an example.
