Regional Account Manager – U.S.

Location: Open / Central U.S. region

About the position

The employee will work to develop new and existing accounts of Net Insight. You will be responsible for the execution of the sales process from prospecting and opportunity identification through to proof of concept, negotiation, contract development and closing. The qualification requires an understanding of the broadcast and media industry and the solutions Net Insight offers and able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive solutions for their media transport solutions (Nimbra).  This position is for sales in the Media Transport segment. You will work to meet or exceed assigned revenue targets. Your focus will also require you to manage and develop existing client base to maintain a happy customer. To be successful in this role you must have excellent communication and presentation skills and able to apply vertical sales and marketing knowledge to drive growth.

The Sales Executive’s responsibilities include:

  • Develop and manage existing accounts
  • Pipe-line management, strategic selling and gross margin models
  • Generate sales quotes and proposals
  • Monitor proof of concepts
  • Develop and deliver product demonstrations at customer sites, trade shows, webinars
  • Respond to business and technical queries from prospects or clients wanting to purchase products and services
  • Convey to prospect or customer requirements to product management and sales support team
  • Extensive travel to represent our brand at customer sites as well as corporate events / trade shows

The position is full-time permanent employment and reports to the Head of Sales Media Network – Americas.

Qualifications

We are looking for a person that enjoys being in contact and contact people thus excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as excellent presentation skills. The ability to understand complex customer problems as well as explaining solutions is part of the job. We are looking of a self-motivated, engaged person that is looking for personal development.

Furthermore, you have a B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering or Communications. You should possess at least 3 – 5 years in sales, Broadcast or Telecom industry or other relevant commercial roles. You have experienced with hardware and software solution in the broadcast industry. Excellent English skills as well as fluency in Spanish a plus required.
