Strategic Product Manager – SDN & Cloud

The media industry is in dramatic change, transitioning from purpose-built solutions to software and cloud. To maintain Net Insight’s leading industry position, we are looking to recruit a Strategic Product Manager, responsible for developing and driving our SDN and cloud strategy.

We are looking for candidates with strong skills in different cloud architecture environments, virtualization (NFV) and software defined networking (SDN). We believe you are a people person with a solid technical background, and you are as confident whiteboarding technical solutions, as you are in arguing for the connected business benefits.


As a Strategic Product Manager for SDN & Cloud you will assume full ownership of Net Insight’s long-term SDN, NFV and cloud strategy, and related products. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing thought leadership and being on top of emerging trends and developments within SDN, NFV and cloud
  • Ensuring full organizational alignment around your vision and act as the ambassador for everything Cloud, NFV and SDN. Both internally and externally
  • Defining and executing associated product roadmaps and goto-market strategies
  • Product PnL
  • Guiding development with well defined, customer grounded requirements
  • Understanding customer pains and challenges and turn that into product opportunities

The position is a permanent employment, full time and based at Net Insight’s headquarters in Stockholm.

In addition, we believe you have:

  • Thorough understanding of cloud computing, virtualization (NFV), software-defined networking (SDN) and associated technologies
  • At least five years’ work experience from hi-tech B2B
  • Excellent communication skills and you know how to translate complex technical solutions and features into high-level customer values
  • Excellent English skills
  • An engineering degree with sales & marketing experience or a degree in business administration with a solid technical background
