Hardware Support Technician – Temporary position

We are now looking for a Hardware Support Technician to join our team in Stockholm on a 14-month contract (maternity leave cover). About the position

As a Hardware Support Technician, you will be performing functional testing, troubleshooting and root cause analysis of RMA and New Inventory modules and cards. You are joining an experienced team of cross functional Support Engineers, developers, architects, and testers who are experts within our uniquely positioned network equipment. We enable our customers to deliver video services, such as HDTV, DVB-T, DVB-H and IPTV, with professional quality and simultaneously increase the network efficiency leading to savings in operating and investment costs. You could, in time, have an opportunity to build skills related to any number of our other products and solutions.

Working side-by-side with our Support and Supply Teams, you will be a vital part of our Nimbra support structure. You will participate in extensive training, while at the same time working on real world issues.

Your specific duties will include:

  • Testing of RMA and New Inventory components to validate failure and root cause analysis
  • Document findings in our ticketing system and complete other paperwork as necessary
  • Perform Inventory of our hardware and other supply related functions
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures and utilize approved tools and resources
Job Responsibilities
  • You must have great Customer Service Skills, great Communication Skills, be a self-starter with a positive attitude and the ability to interact with others in a professional manner
  • You need to work well under pressure, be able to multi-task and be highly productive
  • You should have at least 1 year of relevant hardware testing or support experience, preferably in TV broadcast or network equipment

This is a 14-month contract, full time position, that will be based in Stockholm, Sweden. Preferable start date is May/June 2018. Our office is currently located in Västberga but will move to Solna Business Park after the summer.
