Net Insight Demonstrates Quality of Transport at IBC - 3DTV, Channelized IP and JPEG2000
This year, Net Insight’s IBC booth demos will, once again, stop visitors in their tracks as the company showcases its unique Quality of Transport capabilities. Highlights include a live 3DTV broadcast and demonstrations of its new Channelized IP and JPEG2000 solutions.
In order for service providers to successfully provide HD and 3D to its customers, video must be delivered at the highest possible quality to ensure a premium viewing experience. 3DTV, similar to HD, requires 100 percent QoS, 100 percent of the time, but most networks either lack the bandwidth to support the video or do not use adequate packet switching (IP) techniques.
